Patch repair or skim the whole wall?
Small, isolated damage can be cut out and patched. Where there are lots of repairs on one wall, or the surface around them is tired, skimming the whole wall after repairing usually gives a better finish that won't show patches under paint. We'll talk you through the options.
Damp and water damage
Plaster damaged by water should only be replaced once the cause has been found and fixed and the wall has dried out. Otherwise the problem will return. If you're unsure, tell us what's happened and we'll advise on the next step.
