Preparing walls for render
Good render starts with good preparation. Walls are cleaned down, loose material removed and the surface treated to control suction. Beads are fitted to corners, window reveals and the base of the wall to give sharp edges and a proper drip detail so water runs off.
The finish
We apply render in coats to build a flat, consistent surface, finishing it to suit the property — from smooth to lightly textured. Weather plays a part with external work, so we plan rendering around suitable conditions to give the finish the best chance to cure properly.
